RipVision AI ("we", "us", "our") provides an online platform that analyses satellite oceanographic data — including sea surface temperature, chlorophyll-a concentration, sea-level anomaly, and mixed-layer depth — to produce Habitat Suitability Index (HSI) maps for recreational offshore fishing. The service is operated from Australia and is intended for recreational anglers in the Indo-Pacific region, primarily Australia and New Zealand.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the service. By registering you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@ripvisionai.com of any unauthorised use of your account.
You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access the service through your account. Each subscription is for a single user.
We offer monthly and annual subscription plans (pricing shown at ripvisionai.com/#pricing). All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Subscriptions are billed in advance via Stripe on the day you subscribe, and automatically renew on the same date each month or year. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Stripe billing portal or by contacting us. Upon cancellation you retain access until the end of your current paid period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time unless required by Australian consumer law.
We offer a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase if you are unsatisfied with the service. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion. Nothing in these terms limits any right you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may change subscription prices with 30 days written notice. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.
We may grant free trial or complimentary access to the service at our discretion (for example, during beta periods, to early-access partners, or as part of promotional offers). Trial periods convert to paid subscriptions at the price and date specified at signup unless cancelled before that date. Complimentary access may be revoked at any time.

All content, software, algorithms, HSI models, map imagery, and associated materials are the exclusive property of RipVision AI or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights in the service.
Underlying satellite data is sourced from publicly available datasets (NASA, Copernicus Marine Service) under their respective open-data licences. Our HSI models and processing pipeline are proprietary.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
RipVision AI maps are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute a guarantee that fish will be present at any location. You remain solely responsible for your own safety at sea, compliance with applicable fishing regulations, and any decisions made based on the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RipVision AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We use Stripe for payment processing. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your full card details — all payment data is handled by Stripe.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms. Upon termination your access to the service ceases and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us to delete your data.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any dispute arising under these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice within the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
